On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 19thTriennial Congress of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA 2015) to be held from 9-14 August 2015 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of New Zealand (HFESNZ) are jointly hosting this congress around the central theme “Reaching Out.” It will feature plenaries, panel discussions, concurrent workshops, and free communication sessions on burning local and international issues that will shape the future of ergonomics in this region and the rest of the world. The program will include a wide-range of topics from the traditional to various special interest streams to capture the attention of anyone with an interest or speciality in ergonomics and/or human factors.
IEA 2015 is an excellent opportunity for you to hear about the latest research, exciting new developments and practice in our field from a line-up of globally recognised speakers and experts. Additionally, you will also have a chance to meet new acquaintances and strengthen existing relationships with colleagues from our industry.
We are very proud to host this international meeting here in Melbourne, the sports capital of Australia, also well known for its enchanting laneways, stunning waterfront precincts, trendy neighbourhoods, eclectic cuisine, endless shopping hot spots, as well as weird and wonderful tourist destinations.
I look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne in August 2015!
